La Vista League and Academy wrap up the Spring!

10 teams in the LV Academy and League programs finish up in style!

Congratulations to the 90+ players in the La Vista League and Academy program (managed by Wolves) this Spring. Teams Owls, Union, Royals, Lancers, Wolves, and Kings in the 4-5 year old program, and the White Wolves, Grey Wolves, Arctic Wolves and Timber Wolves in the older brackets had their last scrimmages of the Spring on Saturday. Everyone then finished with medal ceremonies – great job girls and boys!

Thank you again to all the parents who helped out, either on the field or just by bringing the kids out every session.

We may have set a record this season in dealing with Mother Nature, this is the first time in several years (at least as far back as we can remember) that we got through 10 sessions without any rainouts or rescheduling! Though the weather did have a hard time making up its mind about giving us a cold, hot, or windy session from day to day.

We hope to see everyone back, either in SOS (Soccer Over the Summer), a 2021-22 Wolves Team, or in the Fall La Vista Academy and League Program depending on your age group, travel plans, and everything else going on in the non-Soccer portions of your lives.

Wolves Soccer Update!

Wolves 7U – 10U teams in the Sarpy County Soccer League will have their last games of the Spring on May 15th. Some informal scrimmages and “friendlies” may also be on the calendar. Wolves team in the NYSL are currently scheduled to play through May 30th. Good luck to everyone.

2021-22 Season Registration Open

Wolves Registration for birth years 2012 and younger is now open for the coming 2021-22 season. Pre-registration for tryouts for older boys and girls is open. For Wolves Academy teams (10U and younger) there are no tryouts or cuts, though we may place players by ability. Friend and carpool requests are also considered. See the information under Club Registration for exactly what is included in each program – you will find we offer the most bang for the buck or howl for the money around. All current players and any player not now registered with another club are welcome to sign up now!

Returning families please note: Nebraska State Soccer has switched online vendors again, so you may need to create a new account to register your player(s). Some information may be synchronized from the previous system if you use the same e-mail address but our testing so far indicates it may not be 100%.
