A few updates as we wrap up Summer and head into the Fall season.
SOS Wrap Up – First of all, thank you to all participants and coaches who came to and helped out with our Soccer Over the Summer program! SOS has wrapped up for the season, though we hope to replace it with some similar weekly individual training sessions with coach Jay & other staff as we get into Fall mode.
Schedules for the Fall Leagues – the Nebraska Alliance Soccer League (NEASL) has been released and information can be found here. The and the National Competitive Soccer League (NCSL) will be released ASAP, probably the week of 9/5/22.
Our own admin, Dave C., is brave enough to be Wolves representative to the NEASL scheduling group – buy that man a beverage if you see him!
Game Locations – Almost all U7 and U8 games will be home games for us at the La Vista Sports Complex this season! Older teams may also see some games at home also, pending answers to our field availability requests to the city for some Saturdays.
Many NEASL games for U9 and older will be at the new Nebraska MultiSport complex on the west side of La Vista, though it is not opening until the weekend of Sept 23rd. Early season games may be at Springfield and/or La Vista until then.
Junior Academy – Our partnership with La Vista to run their in-house academy is starting up again on Sept 13th. So far we have 19 returning players from the Spring, and about 40 kids new to the program.
If you know anyone in the 4-5 year old age range (or a bit older) still looking for an in-house program, there is still time to direct they to the city’s Recreation Department.
Uniforms – If you have not ordered a uniform kit for the upcoming season please do so as soon as possible. We generally need 2-3 business days to get things numbered and screen printed, and time is short until first games start.
We are using the same uniform as last year so returning players should only be ordering replacements for lost or outgrown pieces.
Our jersey colors are black and orange. Please bring both jerseys to every game in case your team needs to change colors to avoid a conflict with the other team. Black shorts and orange socks are for use with either top.
When complete all uniform orders will be delivered to the club house near field 5 at the Sports Complex. You may pick them up at your next practice.
