OVERVIEW

OVERVIEW

We host two tournaments each year:

– SocctoberFest tournament in October (on separate weekends for Girls and Boys teams)

– Spring Cup in early June

Tournament proceeds help cover club overhead costs and keep the price of youth soccer at Metro Wolves affordable. We also designate a portion of the profit for reinvestment back into the La Vista Sports Complex, to provide a quality practice and game environment for our players and the community.

New goals on several fields, and hybrid field turf in the goal boxes to prevent wear and tear are some recent examples of Wolves giving back to the community!

SocctoberFest

SocctoberFest

Our SocctoberFest tournament has been around since 2012, and has grown to one of Nebraska’s largest youth soccer tournaments.

Starting in 2019, SocctoberFest was split into Girls’ and Boys’ weekends.

SocctoberFest 2021 for girl’s teams will be held from Oct 22-24, and for boy’s teams the following weekend, Oct 29-31.

Registration is now open: WolvesSocctoberFest.com

See you there!

Spring Rec Cup

Spring Rec Cup

Wolves Spring Cup is a fun way to end your Spring season for boys and girls teams from 7U to 15U. We primarily aim for Recreational level teams but at 11U and older we will have brackets for lower Select teams if we have enough applications.

All games are at the La Vista Sports Complex. All teams get a 3 game minimum guarantee, with championship games for older divisions and a Sunday camp experience for all younger players. All preliminary games also feature our popular Player of the Match awards – at the end of the game, each team selects a player on the other team for recognition.

Registration is via WolvesSpringCup.com. Hope to see you there!

Elite ID Camp

Elite ID Camp

Metro Wolves hosts annual Elite ID camps run by the Wolverhampton North American Academy for the benefit of our players and other interested members of the public.

The 2020 youth camp was to be held in conjunction with the Spring Rec Cup tournament, but has been cancelled along with all other soccer activities due to coronavirus fears. A normal camp year would include a Friday night session open to all Wolves Players (only). Wolverhampton coaches then observe and assist Wolves teams during the tournament, as well as host coaching clinics and Sunday camp sessions for all Wolves and Tournament players.

Wolverhampton coaches will select deserving players to receive offers to attend the National Camp normally held in July, in Georgia.

The Elite ID camp is free to all Wolves players. Non-Wolves players ages 8-17 who wish to attend please contact us for details. You will need to register through Global Images Services / Wolves NAA and not with Metro Wolves.

A Select camp may be held later each year in the Summer or Fall, depending on the interest level and Wolverhampton coaches’ availability. Check back for details!
