My child is born in…

2018 or later (Under-6 or younger):

There are no league options for players in this age, so Wolves offers “in-house” Start Soccer programs with training and scrimmages against other Wolves players of similar ages. There are no set team rosters, just age group training and dividing up into squads as necessary for friendly scrimmages. Registration is seasonal for each segment below.

  • Join our Start Soccer program for outdoor training at the La Vista Sports Complex, or indoor training elsewhere in the winter.
    • Fall and Spring, 7 to 8 weeks of twice a week training (weeknight training, Saturday games)
    • Summer – twice a week training from early June through mid to late July.
    • Winter – indoor training split into 3 5-week sessions. Nov through mid-December (skipping Thanksgiving week); Jan through early Feb; mid-Feb through mid-March

2017 or 2016 (U7 and U8):

Players in this age range are encouraged to join the Wolves Academy program. This is an annual commitment (July to June) with pro-rated registration available for those joining in mid-season. No Tryouts – No Cuts. All are welcome until rosters are full!

Players wanting to “try before you buy” in these age groups are welcome to register for Soccer Start or Winter Academy before signing up for Fall or Spring teams.

  • Fall and Spring – two team practices per week, one “age group” training session (all players of similar age), and weekend games in the Nebraska Recreational Soccer League or Nebraska Alliance Soccer League.
  • Summer training and friendly scrimmages as determined by the coach (and by player vacation plans).
  • Winter training and other indoor activities, determined on a team by team basis.
  • Participation in local tournaments or festivals, depending on age appropriate offerings.

2015 or 2014 (U9-U10):

Players in this age range are also encouraged to join the Wolves Academy program. This is an annual commitment (July to June) with pro-rated registration available for those joining in mid-season. No Tryouts – No Cuts. All are welcome until rosters are full!

  • Fall and Spring – two practices per week, and weekend games in the Nebraska Recreational Soccer League or Nebraska Alliance Soccer League.
  • Summer training and friendly scrimmages as determined by the coach (and by player vacation plans).
  • Winter training and perhaps indoor league play (additional fees may be collected), determined on a team by team basis.
  • Participation in up to two tournaments per season (Fall & Spring) – usually one tournament hosted by Wolves each season and one other local or short distance travel tournament.

2012 or earlier (U11-U19):

Wolves Select Teams in these ages are formed by tryouts. You must go through the tryout process or be evaluated by a coach before an offer is made. This is an annual commitment (July to June, or July to February for High School age players) with pro-rated registration available for those invited to join in mid-season. HIGH SCHOOL AGE TEAMS WILL NOT PARTICIPATE IN CLUB OR LEAGUE ACTIVITIES DURING THE HIGH SCHOOL SOCCER SEASON.

  • Fall and Spring – one to two team practices per week, one “age group” training session (all players of similar age), and weekend games in the Nebraska Alliance Soccer League or other options as decided by the coach.
  • Summer training and friendly scrimmages – schedules are determined on a team by team basis (and by player vacation plans).
  • Winter training once or twice a week.
  • Participation in up to two tournaments per season (Fall & Spring) – usually one tournament hosted by Wolves each season and one other local or travel tournament.
  • Other tournament and indoor league play (at additional cost) as determined by the coaches.

Age appropriate registration options will be displayed once you enter your child’s information!

WEBSITE POPUPS MUST BE ENABLED FOR THE REGISTRATION PROCESS.

2023-24 Wolves Soccer Programs

Registration now open for exciting offerings from Wolves Soccer!

Soccer Start

Soccer Start is intended for girls and boys ages 4 to 7. Younger players may sign up but may be placed with older kids as enrollment dictates. Normally the 4-5s and the 6-7s train separately.

Registration for all programs is through the same link. Once you enter your child’s birth date the appropriate programs will display for you.

These are in-house programs for developmental training with Wolves staff. Scrimmages within the group or with other Wolves-affiliated teams will also take place, but you are not joining a specific team for actual league play yet.

Registration is seasonal, with multiple Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter programs offered.

  • Spring: Soccer Start – Typically a 7-8 week program in April and May with Thursday evening training and Saturday morning scrimmages. Sessions will be outdoors at the La Vista Sports Complex. Spring 2024 Registration will open in February.
  • Summer: Soccer Start – Similar to Spring, starting in early June and running for 6 weeks through July. 5 year olds and younger meet twice a week, 6 and older kids (birth years 2017 and older) practice on two weeknights, with potential Saturday morning games.
  • Fall: Soccer Start – 7-8 weeks starting in mid-August and running through early October. Fall 2023 Registration is now closed.
  • Winter: Soccer Start (4-5 year olds) or Winter Academy (6-7 year olds) – This is broken up into multiple 5 week terms, (skipping holidays), so you don’t have to commit to 15 weeks all winter when you have other plans. Indoor training and scrimmages on Thursdays and Saturdays – locations may vary. $75 per player per term, multi-term discounts.
    • Term 1: Thursdays Nov 9th, 16th, 30th; Dec 7th, 14th. Saturdays Nov 11th, 18th, Dec 2nd, 9th, 16th.
