Return To Play Phase 1

On May 28th, the Nebraska State Soccer Association released their Phase 1 plan for Return to Play. You can read the entire document here. When the city opens the La Vista Sports Complex again (hoping for a positive result from the June 2nd city council meeting), we will resume play under these guidelines. The general goal is to treat soccer practices similar to health and fitness clubs for social distancing purposes.

Guideline highlights:
- Practices will be limited to 10 people per field, including coaches. No contact drills will be run, only individual training and conditioning. [There is no mention of how to deal with different sized fields...]
- Players are responsible for bringing their own equipment, and their own hand sanitizer or other protective measures.
- No guest players are allowed, and all practices must be signed up for before hand. This is the equivalent of the 'You must have a reservation' criteria for going to many businesses.

Additionally, we will have the following restrictions:
- The Clubhouse at the LVSC will not be open.
- Coaches are strongly encouraged not to provide rides for any players.
- Players who misbehave or refuse to follow all guidelines will be immediately sent home - no second chances.
- Parents who misbehave will be given additional children, free of charge.

Thank you for your support, and look for further communication from our coaches!
